Gloria Fire Extinguishers

Gloria Launches its First Engineer's Catalogue

The new Gloria catalogue, showing our entire extinguisher range

10th July 2007

Gloria, a leading player in the supply of fire fighting equipment to the independent fire trade in the UK, has launched its first ever catalogue, incorporating its entire extinguisher range, and a wide range of fire safety products, together with a supporting price list.

The full colour catalogue has been designed as an aid to promote the range of products when engineers and sales teams are on site with customers. Easy to use, the 40-page guide is divided into four distinct colour-coded sections, intended to help readily find the best product to suit customers’ needs.

The first section, devoted to portable and wheeled extinguishers, details the complete Gloria extinguisher range, fully approved to relevant British and European Standards with a proven track record of durability and reliability. A clear ‘key’ demonstrating which extinguisher to use in different scenarios is shown on each page, alongside bullet points of main product features and a detailed specification chart.

The second section, on fire safety products items showcases the Gloria range of extinguisher accessories, cabinets, covers and stands, alongside products such as fire blankets, fire buckets, first aid kits and escape ladders. Equipment for brigades is also covered, profiling apparatus for dry and wet rising mains which provide a readily available means of delivering considerable quantities of water to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire.

A further section on fire detection and alarm equipment gives details on panels and the Apollo and Hochiki range of conventional and addressable analogue devices, offering a complete answer to fire detection requirements. Other detection and alarm devices including manual call points and sounders, bells and smoke/heat alarms are also included.

With health and safety an important consideration in the working environment, the catalogue also features a useful information update on the latest regulations impacting fire safety provision including the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the Fire (Scotland) Act, and the Fire Safety Order (FSO) which encompasses and replaces all existing fire legislation.

The Gloria brand is recognised by the independent fire trade as a product of renowned quality. A second catalogue, Gloria signs catalogue, focussing on fire and safety signs has also been launched.
